My PDA locks up when attempting to do a sync. It looks link it is tryiing to sync but just sits there and when you stop the sync operation the computer gets stuck in the stop mode and will not come out of that mode until you reboot the system. I have benn able to download to the PDA during this stake so I knoe that the PDA and the computer are talking.

Sounds like a firewall issue stopping the external device (the Axim) from sending to the PC.
