help! My X51v is dying..

I installed a cab file which I shouldn't have. It went for a soft reset and since then have been showing me the white screen of death. I tried hard resetting it for a number of times, and even took out the battery and putting back. It doesn't help. What should I do now? Whenever I hard reset it, it just went back to the white screen. Has anyone had similar encounter? Is this virus?

some unsecured cab files. I thought the worst that could happen is that I would have to hard reset the pda. Never had I thought I would get the unresponsive white screen. Trouble is I bought the pda in Malaysia, not sure the warranty would cover the UK (where I am). Anyone has had similar experience?

That's new. Dell Malaysia never told me that. Told me to buy 3 year cover to get international guarantee when I first bought. Perhaps that's just a way for them to get more money.
