Axim x51v dead left button on d-pad

My left button only works if I press hard and on a very distinct point (extreme left point of the d-pad). The other buttons work just fine and I'm wondering if anyone else has had such a problem and if its repairable. Sending it back to Dell is not an option either. Although I don't use the buttons much it sucks to not have the d-pad working if I want to play games. :throwcomp

EDIT: The funny thing was that this didn't happen before I updated to A06 ROM...

Did this happen immediately after A06? I think it is a hardware problem, though.

I opened up the Axim and it's definitely a hardware problem. The button pad seems to be loosing it's sensitivity. I wonder if I could get the spare part anywhere though. Do you think Dell would let me purchase one?
