Have searched various threads & forums, don't seem to see this problem discussed anywhere.

The lock button on my X51v seems to have no effect on anything. Soft reset does not change the situation. Regardless of position of lock button, system awakens from standby if power button gets bumped. If system is in active mode, lock button does not disable screen responses or other buttons.

Not synching w a computer, etc. just using in standalone mode wo using activesynch, etc.

Any suggestions or references to threads where this is discussed?

broke.... warranty ? if so repair call and replace.

If it's actually broken it will be going back; I bought the full plan. Just looking for someone who might have had the same problem and found an easier cure.
