Endless Synch - Help please.

I can connect to Active Synch, but the synchronizing goes for hours and never completes. I have it set to only synch something small - like tasks. It has never completed in the short time I have owned the X51.

Any help is appreciated.

Both Welcome to Aximsite, I had this too at the beginning but after stopping the Sync, deleting the Mobile Device and putting back into the cradle it worked OK.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately it didn't resolve my issue. I also have uninstalled and reinstalled Active Sync to a different directory.

Well, have you tryed the Microsoft website. I know it is almost sacreligious but the MS website has ALOT of good trouble shooting and tips. Just do alittle searching, and don't forget to search Aximsite(even though I find the search utility almost useless)

I had similar problem, seems Zonealarm causes some of it. Under firewall, go to Zones and change it to "Trusted", don't forget to click apply. You should now be able to connect.

I changed Zone Alarm settings and downloaded Active Sync 4.2 and it works. Thanks for the suggestions. The Microsoft site was helpful as suggested.
