I also have this problem when using GPSDash in the car. After driving 15 min. WITH power connected : password screen pops up. VERY annoying. This forces me to re-enter the pin during driving... Hope someone finds a fix soon!

Problem solved (at least on my Axim):
>start
>settings
>lock - check prompt ..... select 12 hours from dropdown menu.

IMHO, Dell should have given more options between 2 hours and 12 hours, but what can you do?

unfortunately this is not an option for me :(
The time box is greyed and I can't put it on anything else than 5min :(
