Just exit AS after you sync and you should be fine.

yeah my settings have reverted to "as items arrive". I will keep an eye to see if AS starts itself again.....it did earlier.

I also need to keep refreshing ILauncher. All my icons for the applications loaded onto my SD Card keep going blank.

I did the full hard reset and re-installation of programs.

yup its happened again, AS is starting itself. I haven't left it long enough to see if the battery is draining.

Same here. I did FakeServer Trick after installing A12 and all is good now.

I had AS start by itself (not cradled) after installing A12. Did the fake server trick and AS hasn't started unexpectedly since. That was 4 days ago.

after I applied the trick I did it again to check the settings. I found they had reverted back to the defaults.

Please let me know if you have successfully carried out the server trick. I did it but the settings returned to default. Through the other threads on the A12 upgrade I have seen a few others have experienced the AS starting (uncradled) and some have also noticed that the settings return to default.

I have not seen anything to suggest that the batteries are draining but I suppose time will tell.

Anyone else have dissapearing icons in ILauncher ?

I have not yet done this to the a12 update, however, I noticed that the FS trick reverted to "items as they arrive" when the server was removed after I upgraded to AS 4.2 beta. So I think it may more to do with the AS version.

I dont think it is needed anymore. I dont face battery drain losing SD/CF and cannot power on issues after A12 upgrade.
