x51v: SD dissappears!

I have had my x51v for a couple of weeks. Disappointed by speed etc, but generally OK.

However, yesterday, having removed by 1GB SD card, it seems to be no longer seen - it does not appear in doc lists etc.

Have tried soft reset, battery out, card in & out, and the Active Sync fix (disabling auto sync), but it is still not appearing!

Help! I am a surgeon on call this weekend, and can't access the files I need on the card.

Several Suggestions, and I know it's already the weekend.

If you have another card, see if the ax can read it. If not it may be an ax hardware problem.

If you have a card reader, make sure your card is readable from your pc. If is is, back up it's contents onto the pc, and try reformatting the card. See if the newly formatted card can be read by the ax. If it can, recopy the files onto the card and hopefully you will be up and cutting in no time.

Good Luck.

Cheers!

All sorted now. Guess I won't be removing the card again in a hurry!
