Since I upgraded to A12 (worked first go, no problems :) ) I've noticed that I can now allocate more problems to the various buttons.

Maybe I just didn't notice in A06, but with A12 I can now allocate just about any program in my START->Programs list.

For example, now I allocate Tom Tom Navigator to one of my buttons for quick access.

Am I making this up, or is it an improvement for A12?

If you are taking about what I think you are talking about, that is NOT an improvement for A12. I've had Tomtom mapped to the "calendar" button since A01 (or A04, or whatever it was before A06).
