I am having an issue with my program icons disappearing from the Today screen and Start menu for software installed on my 1 Gig SD card. This problem started immediately after upgrading from A05 to A12 last week. Prior to this I had no issues with the Axim X51 or the SD card. I have installed a few ROM updates prior to this with no problems so I know the hardware works fine. I am wondering if because this latest ROM update seems to start up faster that my SD card is now too slow on boot up? The icons change to the default icons every time I Soft Reset or Power Down and back up again. All I have to do is go to START-MENU and click on the programs to refresh the icons and all is good until I reset it again. I am using an SD card made by PNY. Otherwise the Axim works great and the install seemed to install with no problems. This is just an annoyance.

Has anyone seen this problem?
Any quick fixes or a way to refresh the SD card on boot up?
