Came with Rom A11, the firts thing i did when my pda arrived was upgrade to A12 (with activesync 4.1), and i think, im not sure, that im having power drain issue, any solution for this issue?
there was no need to flash to A12 form A11, because it is the same rom as A12, and dell isntalls it to new purchased axims, so for now new axims comes with a11 and is working stable, in case you can do just FST, and do not forget to turn off BT and WIFI then powering off your axim.

Some people have success by doing another hard reset. I don't know how reliable this is, but it seems to work for them.

write it down on a notepad when starting and closing. Check the power status when you open and before you close the pda. (eg. start 8:54@90% end 9:05@85%; start 11:00@85% end 11:30@70% so on and so forth).
With wifi on, I get an average of 5% per 10 minutes. That's (5x6) 30% in one hour. That would give me 3 hours and 20 mins with wifi on. A lot more than that without wifi. I used to get more than that after a clean install but ever since I tried experimenting on different battery meters, I got that rate of drain. I'm still on A06.

10:25@100% 22C temperature
11:31@58% 44.5C tempetaure

42% in 6 minutes is too much, something is draining your battery. Try to do a hard reset and test without any other software installed. Just turn on wifi and browse the internet.

sorry, my mistake
the correct values are
10:25@100% 22C temperature
11:31@58% 44.5C tempetaure

I was having significant slowdown when starting up. After reading the thread below, I disabled the Odyssey client, and cleaned up memory using MemMaid, and now it is very responsive on startup.
Another think I noticed that when I was starting up (prior to cleaning up) I setup Vidya Task Manager, which puts a CPU meter in the top bar. When I turned the unit on, the CPU was not being taxed. Not sure what this means, but I would theorize that the Oddssey client has the system stuck on a network timeout type of event, which takes 20 - 30 seconds to hit.
I've got an A01 unit, and I still have problems, so I'm pretty sure it is not a hardware issue. I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but my battery problem seems to be because of the date/time. When ever it's set to the current date, I have a problem with my device not staying off, and using up battery power. Whenever I set the date to 2005, I don't have this problem. Any ideas?

thats wierd
I thought my battery drain was fixed. But I had a full charge last night around midnight. I took it off the charger and put it in my bag, making sure screen was off. This morning it wouldn't come on. I soft reset and it came up saying the device was going to go in standby because of little power.
