Once I put the card in Axim hangs.

Does not respond to taps nor pressing buttons.
Even power button does not work - no matter how long I press it.
Screen is lighted, clock does not advance.
Only reset button works

Nope, but symptoms are the same except a\Axim does not even suspend itself
once I insert SD card.
Removing the card does not change anything.

Before that happened today I used lock switch few times.

What ROM version do you have?
I used to have that problem with an older ROM version.

A12, card is Adata 4GB, 150x
I believe the problem is same as described by Wisniak here:

Anyhow my X51 was doing the same thing every time I inserted my wireless flashcard. The topic in the forum discussed the problem with your axim automatically wanting to sync every 5 minutes. So I changed how often it did it on its own and I havn't had a problem since. Sorry I coulndn't be of more assistance, hopefully someone reading this knows where this topic is or has an answer to your issue.

No rss.
I used to have web browser cache on sd card but I did already hard reset and after that same thing happens.

Is your card compatible with your axim? I had an issue with my first card, some moron at dell sent me a linksys G card and it didn't work. As soon as I received my Ambicom card it started working right away.
