Hi,

I have a new Axim X51v. The first thing I did was hard-reset the device and update the ROM to A12. I have also applied the fake server trick.

If the Axim has been in standby for a while, when I press the power button it powers up immediately - the display is on, the backlight is working and the buttons all work. The problem is, the touchscreen doesn't respond. Eventually, if I leave it for 2 minutes or more, the touchscreen will start to respond. Alternatively, I can soft-reset and it will work fine.

This only seems to happen if the Axim has been in standby for a while - if it is in standby for a short period of time, the touchscreen responds immediately.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did the unit do the hard reset at the final stage of the A12 rom update?
