Question Really Choppy Video on TCPMP from sd card

Hi, I've been using hubdog to download video podcasts to my axim x51v. I have it set to download everything to a 2gb sd card. the mp3 podcasts play GREAT and I love them! but when I try to play the video downloads, they play very very choppy. like half a second plays fine, then it freezes for about 4 seconds, and plays for another half second then so on.

the audio doesn't freeze, and when the video resumes for the half-second, it is in sync with the audio. but I just can't get it to work! I thought it was because I had a slow 1x sd card, but I found the package yesterday and it turns out that it is actually a 133x card. is that fast enough for video?

also, when I stream the videos from hubdog (that is, not downloaded form my card) the video plays just fine!

anybody know what I can do to improve performance? i've messed with the settings in tcpmp but nothing made any difference.

ALSO: is it possible to disable the option that makes tcpmp play when you tap the screen?

You may find more information when searching "tcpmp stutter". Here is one of the thread that may explain the issue you are having:

Try setting up the buffer size.
Try checking Prefer lookup tables over arithmetic in advanced settings.

And yeah, Divx4 isn't "fully" supported, it tends to get choppy. How "big" is the movie, anyway? pixel by pixel, that is... if the download version is higher res than the streaming version, that might be the difference.
