hi everyone,

a newest newbie...fully charged my x51 overnight with cradle and took it off cradle two hours ago and turned the screen off to resting mode. however i just found out i could not turn it back on!! and it feels "hot" where the battery located..i tried put it back on cradle to charge and it showed red light, but it would not turn on even in the cradle... i check the side lock and battery cover in hte back, both are in right place...
could this be a broken battery problem??

A hot battery is one of the symptoms fixed by the fake server trick.

I have the same problem with my 1-year-old x51v. It won't power on. Yesterday it had problems with Bluetooth connections. When I tried to pair a new device, it said "Bluetooth Hardware Error". This morning, I powered it off, and even after removing the battery, performing hard-resets, removing the device from the cradle, using the charger only, and all manner of combinations of this still does not help.

And yes, I've checked the battery door and "lock" switches.

Could this be caused by a bad battery? I may have to send this thing back to Dell...

Help! Thanks!

So, I contacted Dell tech support and described my problem. I got a response from them stating that my Axim will need to be replaced.

However, I purchased the Axim from an ebay seller, not directly from Dell. Am I screwed?
