In General,

how do you feel about the overall quality of your Dell PDA?

What do you like most about it?

What do you like least about it?

I am waiting for a replacement for my device, but as time passes I find this little thing or that little thing to be not quite right. I am growing disappointed.

Like to hear how others feel about it.

I have an X30(h) that's now 2 years old. I've always been very satisfied with it. My only complaints have been:

I don't like how it rests in the cradle. My old Palm was fully supported in the back so that you could use it while in the cradle. Can't do that with the Dells. They wobble too much.

The bottom pin connections are way too easily damaged.

Other than that, I like it just fine. 4 out of 5 stars.

My new favorite quote (attrributed to Mark Twain, although i haven't been able to confirm the attribution or the wording):

"Those who don't read the newspaper are uninformed.
Those who do read the newspaper are missinformed."

I have an X50v. I won't have it for too much longer but here's what I think.

Likes:
VGA screen
Bluetooth / Wifi

Dislikes:
Can't run WM5 efficiently

All in all, it is an awesome device. The only reason that I am getting rid of it is because I now have a Treo 700wx.

Hasn't failed (yet) *knocks on wood*

Nicest parts - screen, VGA output

Worst parts - relatively low amount of program RAM, small buttons

Still, with the problems laurie53's had, I'm starting to think they've been dribbling theirs about like a basketball or something, since I've yet to see HALF of this sort of thing happen with my (gently) used unit.

Mine works fine. I would like to recommend it to my friends. They like it too. And they are planning to buy one on the next PC fare. Price will be a little lower then the actual. The rom is an A11 and it's stable. Anywhere I bought it at the PC fare in West Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor

I have had my Axim X51 for about 6 months now and absolutely LOVE it. :approve: Primarily use it for PIM, Word, Excel, photo and video viewing and light Net surfing. Upgraded from an old Palm. Hope to add GPS in the near future.

Likes: WiFi, BT (syncing and keyboard), SD and CF expansion slots. Essentially replaces my laptop for everything except FrontPage/website updates.

Dislikes: the idea that Dell is discontinuing the Axim line!
