My Axim is working just fine, then I come back to it and suddenly it has storage memory problems. I do a look through File Explorer, and here are a bunch of files and data I never downloaded to it. My sync excludes files (limited to email, tasks, calendar and contacts), so it should not have entered through sync.

What gives?

What types of files/data? I think we need more information to be able to help you.

are they under activesync? I had a zillion files one day and the only way I could get rid of them was to do a backup and not save them as part of the backup then do a hard reset and restore. Not sure what cause that to happen and it hasn't happened again.
