Axim X51 Quick turn off after about 30 Seconds

Is there any way to prevent the screen on the X51 from turning off after about 30 seconds. I have to keep taping the screen to read a long paragraph? I have adjusted the time for the PDA to turn off after 5 minutes, but this does not have anything to do with the screen. Any help would be appreciated. Bob McRae

Start-Settings-System-Brightness
Check your settings for Battery Power and External Power.

Thats the same answer I found in my hard copy manual that came with my X51V. Its great that so much information can be found in the manual on how to operate my unit.
