Possible bluetooth trick?
Hey guys... new to the site... i don't know if this is best forum for my question or not...
anyway, here's what I want to do...
I've got a motorola razr, a motorola bluetooth headset, and an Axim X51... I've transferred my address book entries from my phone to my axim... is there any way I can link the axim, phone, and headset so that I could select a phone number from my axim and the phone will automatically dial so that I can talk using my headset without ever touching my phone?
also, how can I use the bluetooth headset to listen to music from my axim?
finally, this isn't an axim question, but is it possible to listen to music from my notebook computer using my bluetooth headset?
thanks in advance for any advice...

Question 1
I don't think that is possible, Obeymoto works well for me.
Question 2
Yes, install the widcomm stack on the axim, get TCMP. Pair the headset with the axim and connect the headset and listen to music.
Question 3
yes

As for your first question, it might be possible. I haven't tried it, but here's my theory (this is assuming your phone will allow multiple bluetooth connections, one for the headset, and one for the Axim).
-Pair the headset to the phone.
-Pair the Axim to the phone.
-Use a bluetooth dialer program (like this one http://www.pocketpccanada.com/conten...tooth%20Dialer) in which you can select a number from your Axim contacts, and it will dial it on your phone.
In theory, this might just work...
Added: After looking at the software a bit more deeply, it might even have the option of dialing using the bluetooth headset. And the cool part, the software is free. So, maybe download the software, and follow its instructions.

X51 Widcomm and TT6 Problems
Hi,
I am studying this forum for quite a while now. I also have Bluetooth problems on my Axim 51. I used the Widcomm stack and everything seemed to work fine. However, after that I installed TomTom 6. But when I start Bluetooth then I get the same annoying error message "The Bluetooth Radio failed to turn on ...". Furthermore, it seems that Audio drivers are not loaded as there is no sound.
My configuration is:
Processor power: 520 MHz
RAM: 64 MB, 128 MB ROM
ROM Version: A04
Available Data Space: 57 MB
Programm Space: 35 MB
Does anyone know I workround? I did not find this problem in the forum so far (and sorry if I overlooked it). Any help is appreciated.
Also, I cannot not install TomTom5 (crash during startup)

it was a tedious process for me... i bet there's an easier way to do it... i "paired" or "synched" or did whatever it is to connect your axim to your bluetooth phone... on my motorola razr, i had to individually "beam" the address book listings one by one by hitting the menu button (the one in the middle of the top row of buttons) when I scrolled to the entry i wanted to send to the axim... I then scrolled to "send" which was at the bottom of the list of options... my phone showed my axim as an option to send the data to... i picked it, confirmed on my axim, and voila... i just had to do it a hundred or so times and I had them all in my axim... if there's a way to do this in one fell swoop or whatever i'd sure like to know!!

It's a new Bluetooth stack for the Axim, replacing the stock (and really limitted MS stack). You can download it at http://bt.nokistein.com/BroadcomBlue...tackX51V05.zip. Simply unzip, follow the directions, and install. It works great, and can be uninstalled. I love mine, works great with my GPS, BT keyboard, Motorola headset, BT stereo headphones, etc.

DH,
Thanks I'll do the same tedious task =)
Edge or anyone that knows...I have my GPS synced up with my Axim with no troubles, should I still do that download? I dont want to screw up anything that is working fine already.

You know the saying, "if it ain't broke..." For me, I kinda like trying new things, plus I wanted the ability to pair my headset and stereo headphones to my Axim. With the new ROM out for the X51v, I think you can now pair headphones, but I'm not sure. The Widcom/Broadcom stack made it easy for all sorts of devices, but if all you're using is your GPS, and it's working fine, then hey, stay with that. If you find a BT device which doesn't work with the built-in MS stack, maybe think about installing then.
