I really hope someone out there can help me. It's getting really, really annoying
I recently upgraded from A06 to A12. Ever since then, I'm getting the "white screen of death" EVERY TIME turn my Axim 51v on. It doesn't matter if I place it in the cradle, turn it on before I do that, or simply try to turn it on to use. It won't start unless I do a soft-reset, which is getting pretty annoying!!

I already did the ActiveSync Hack, no help there. Nothing changed. I know there used to be a thread about another registry hack when the Axim 51v was first released. It involved changing a registry number, but I can't remember the details. That hack helped back then to eliminate WSOD. I can't seem to be able to find the thread anymore.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would really appreciate it since I;m about ready to throw the axim against the wall......... :bang:

that's odd I haven't seen a single WSOD eon A12

sounds like one of your programs isn't playing nice with the rest of your pda. if you have a good backup program, make a current backup and try a hard reset and before loading programs back on try playing for a while to see if it still does it. If it does then you need to call Dell for a new one, if not then you have a program that isn't cooporating. load them one at a time until you figure out which one.

I tried it, did a hard-reset then reinstalled all the programs that I KNEW worked with the previous A06, left everything else off, and voila - It Works!
