Aximsitewifiicon HELP! my wifi is enabled but no red light WTF

I just bought this x51v on ebay and the first time I turned it on I had no trouble accesing the web but now I can only get a blue light for the bluetooth. I tried to scan for servers but get nothing. I've enabled and disabled wireless but no blinking red light WTF? Did I break it already? I think I like my x30 better, too many probs with this x51v.

the x51(v) does not blink a red light for wifi. its green. and if you click the wireless icon at the bottom of the today screen you can turn it on.

The wireless button on the left side of the Axim will toggle (on/off) either the wifi or the bluetooth, depending on which was last used.

There's a much better switching utility here:

Tried the button on the side all it did was turn the bluetooth on and off. A few minutes after I posted l decided to do a hard reset and it came up again but I don't know how the damn thing disappeared in the first place. Thanks for the info anyway.

As Bill_Todd said, the wireless button "remembers" the last thing you were using. The previous owner probably used BT last so when you pressed the button, that's what you got. You can manually enable wifi by going into the WLAN utility.

just a small question... can you use a program to set the "wireless button" to turn on WiFi and the "record" to turn on BT (or vice-versa)? I never use the record button but turn BT/WiFi off and on a good bit and would like dedicated buttons for them.
