Exclamation Cannot execute \Windows\IR_DKBdriver.exe

Hi.

Occasionally when I bring my Axim X51v out of standby mode, I am hit with a "Notification Error" which states "Cannot execute \Windows\IR_DKBdriver.exe

I have no idea what this means or how to remedy it. Can someone please help me? Naturally, if you require any additional info on what software I have installed and additional hardware, I will provide this.

Many thanks in advance

Anthony,
I have the same problem. It started happening after I installed the keyboard driver for the palm IR universal keyboard. I uninstalled the driver, and the message stopped. However, I recently reinstalled the driver, got the message, then unistalled, and now I'm still getting the message everytime I turn on my axim x51v! I don't know what to do, other than a hard reset. But you might try unistalling that kyboard driver; I hope that solves it...maybe palm will update the driver later...
yours in Jesus,
Nate :)

reinstall the keyboard drivers, and that should fix the erro message. It fixed it for me (but now my keyboard won't work, ever since I upgraded the rom to a12! bummer!)

I, too, have the Palm Wireless keyboard and it works great with my x51v with no problems. I use it mainly for TextMaker and PlanMaker. The only thing I hate about it is I need to remove it from the Rhino Case and the extended battery doesn't really make the unit 'fit' on the tray.

Sounds like maybe the file got corrupted somehow. Definitely try to uninstall it completely from both your computer and Axim. Then reinstall it from scratch.
