I have an Axim X51v. I am trying to use a 1 g PNY compact Flash card but it is not recognized or I amdoing something wrong. File explorer does not see the CF card. I do not have any problems with my SD card. Thoughts?

Did you make sure it is properly seated into the slot? Push it down all the way it will go. You can also try the same card on another device or a card reader to see if it works.

Thank you .... I have re-seated the card several times. I have not tried it in another card reader. I will give it a try......

I just noticed you have an X51v. Have you seen this thread on hacks to fix such problems:

I have tried using the CF card in another reader and it works....
I have used the hack for the active sync problem.

Still no luck on my axim reading the CF card.......

It looks like there is only one way to intstall it, so I do not think that is the issue.
Is there a formatting issue perhaps?

I had to do a hard re-set in order for the CF card to appear.....
