Question Windows Media detecting SD card upon restart

This is kind of a strange problem - and I am a newbie but I just can't figure this one out so here are all my steps with this problem: I purchased a Thinkoutside Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard (which I love by the way) this past weekend and installed it on my x51v. At first I had some problems with the Axim recognizing it so I downloaded the new drivers for the keyboard from the Thinkoutside site. After installing the new driver the keyboard paired with no problems.

So anyway, I begin using my Axim - everything is fine, then I turn it off. When I turn it back on later Windows media comes up first before anything with the following message:

A storage card was inserted. Do you want to search it for audio and video files?

At first I didn't really think much about it because I did have Windows Media open earlier so I just closed it - I also keep a SD card in the slot all the time. But when I turned my Axim back on Windows media player keeps popping back up with that same message - every time! :rolling:

I've looked around through the preferences but am afraid I know just enough about my Axim to be dangerous. Anyone got any ideas/suggestions?

I had this problem to but with my CF-card...
Have you tried to choose yes on the "A storage card was inserted. Do you want to search it for audio and video files?" question? It worked for me.

I gave it a whirl three times. It searches the card each time and then comes back with:

"The library has been updated. Click continue if done."

Have had the same problem with my SD card, I took the card out of the slot did a soft reset and then put the card back in the slot. Answered Yes to the Media player question and it went away. Problem went away.
I suspect my problem was due to the SD card not being seated correctly.

Thanks Mickeyfin! That solved the problem.

I followed your tip and sure enough when I turned my Axim back on the dreaded Windows Media player had vanished! Thank the good Lord for soft resets!!!
