How do i create prg shortcuts in mem cards?

Instead of installin all my prgs thru activesync (2 slow) I transfered prgs onto my larger cf card but when i created the shortcuts with windows & moved them to the start menu all i get is "Cannot follow this shortcut because it was not created on a pocket pc device". DOes dat mean i hafta reinstall all my prgms thru slo-mo activesync??? any help?

Yes. You must use ActiveSync unless you have .cab files which can be installed using cabinstl.

yup, copy like that won't work. There are very few programs that will allow you to do this now days.
It's like me copy a program (after it has been installed onto my pc) and move it to another pc. There's much more involved when a program run it's copy routing such as registry

Run the *.exe from your desktop and installed it through Active Sync or install "on-the-fly" with *.cab
