Screen frozen with reminder box displayed

I have tried everything, read all I could find, and searched...I cannot unfreeze my Axim X51v screen! I have soft reset, and even tried several hard resets, which would not complete itself. I synced with my PC to try to erase the calendar reminders that are stuck...no result. It is fully charged.

It seems as though the touch-screen function is completely disabled.

I am frustrated and bewildered...can anyone advise me?

It DOES keep playing the reminder tune...all night long.

Could it be the lock switch?

Remove your battery for a few seconds, put it back in and then turn the Axim back on. See if that will clear it.:)
