User defined scroll button

I recently bought a x51v and I have defined button 5 and 6 to do scrolling up and down. When I press the button it will scroll one line. If I hold down the button I expected it to continue scrolling until released, but it still waits till I release the botton and scrolls one line. I have talked with Dell Tech Support and they say this is the way the button works, that there is not repeat scroll. I have a 3Xi and it repeats scrolls, and I don't see any reason why Dell would not continue this feature. Is there any way to have the button repeat scroll while the button is held down, or is there something wrong with my PDA?

If the internal mechanic of the button is not detecting continuous contact if will not do a scroll as you desire. It will be limited to what it is doing now.

I should also point out that if I assign any button to scroll I can't get it to repeat scroll. So either all of te buttons are not recognizing me holding the button pressed, or it just doesn't work that way. Can anyone do repeat scrolling on their x51v?
