Most wireless networks allow administrators to enter one 'password' and have four keys created. This allows them to tell their users, "we are using key 2 this week" and then not have to go from station to station making the more complex changes required for a completely different password. In practice, I've never heard of anyone bothering to use it and the default is always key 1.
Even though you think you entered the 26-characters, it's pretty easy to make a mistake entering that many keyboard strokes using the onscreen keyboard when you can not see what has actually been entered. The only option is to try again (or convince the network administrator to switch to 64-bit - it's really just as secure as 128 and it's a lot easier to get 10 characters right).
