I've never heard of this error on a home network. Usually, certificates are involved with corporate level security. What kind of wireless router do you have and what security do you have enabled?

What type of router are you using? Is it _your_ router (do you have admin priveleges)? Have you successfully connected other devices to it? Sounds to me like you are trying to connect to somebody else's network.
