Hi all.

I get my X50v from the desk again and I will did a try for a PocketGBA to play Zelda Minish Cap.

So I mapped the buttons and I found when I press the Left and record buttons the Screens dims backlight of the screen off and Link not moves or fights

So I tried to found the reason and found is not the PocketGBA fault, I opened the Screen settings and yeah, when I press that combination I can see the bar moving to the very left position turning off the backlight screen.

So I unmapped all buttons, a soft even a hard reset without anything else installed and the result is the same.

Of course I can Play with the other hard buttons, but I'm not too comfortable so I want to ask some one

Have you the same problem and exist a way to repair it? or this behavior is expected?

An interesting point, when I had the X3i I remember if you press the enter button, it means the button on the center of Dpad and move the volume up or down the backligth dims up or down, and this is a normal function of pocket pc, but the x50v doesn't supposedly to have that buttons.

I haven't had that problem but I did have all the buttons on my Axim stop working. After I tried a tone of stuff I eventually had to get the Axim replaced by Dell.

that sounds like a case of lock--button-itis.
