I'm having a problem with my Dell Axim 51V.

Some programs simply terminate without warning at random.
This happens regardless of how many other programs I'm using simultaneously: in fact, yesterday I was just doing a simple sum with excel mobile and the program terminated without warning.

I thought this might have had to do with the ROM version (I'm using A04, Spanish language) but I can't update it to a more advanced version as ROM updates do not work if the original ROM is in another language (you get this message: "the update does not support this language version").

Any clues anyone?

I have a similar problem with my A12 English X51v, except mine seems to be related to how many programs are running. Often PIE and/or Opera will close when I open another program. It's difficult to keep 2 or 3 programs open without at least one of them closing when I open another. Relative to your post though, I never have a single program close on its own, except maybe IG3 every once in a while. I attribute that to the program itself, not to WM5 or the hardware. I'm tempted to do a hard reset and gradually add my programs (SPB Pocket Plus, Magic Button, MS .Net 2.0, Tweaks 2k2, etc) unitl the problem pops back up.

Perhaps others have solved this problem?
