Freezing x51v on power off/on

I have had problems with x51v since day one freezing up and having to soft reset. I finally figured out that this happens when I run a program, close it (I am closing everything, including wireless, bluetooth, and active sync from settings/memory/running programs) and then power off. When I turn it back on, everything freezes up and the only fix is a soft reset. Then the whole process starts over again. I've taken to plugging it in and leaving it on as often as possible to avoid this because I don't know what else to do. PLEASE HELP!!:realmad:

I agree. Read about the fake server trick. Their are a mutltude of problems that go away when you do it. My Ax stopped freezing up after I did it.

another possibility is that Odyssey is messing you up. Do you use Odyssey? If you dont need it and it is starting up then that will cause it to look like it is stuck. if it is starting up you will see a little sailing ship down in the tray at the bottom. If that isn't your issue try unchecking everything on the Today page and see if that helps. If all of these suggestions still don't help you probably have a program that is giving you a hard time. Make a good backup if you feel you need to be able to restore and then do a hard reset. Before loading anything back on try turning it on and off a few times to see how it works when it is clean. if it works fine then load one program at a time until you figure out what is causing this issue.

Thank you!!

I had done the fake server trick which helped a bit, but was still having the above issues. Closing Odyssey also helped quite a bit, but ultimately I have ended up hard-resetting because after installing some new programs I garnered the white screen of death. So I'm installing a few programs at a time until I can track down what sucks. I have a feeling that Tweaks 2k2 is what blew it up in the end, but still don't know what was slowing it down and causing the freeze.
Thanks as always. Aximsite is INVALUABLE.
