Axim 51v multi soft reset

Greetings All,
I was wondering why it is that I have to soft reset the axim so that it reads the CF storage card. I do this about four to fives times a day. Any comments would be greatly needed.

Look into your File Explorer Program and see whats going on with CF

You shouldn't have to, but depending on what you have installed on CF, whether you are changing it in and out for other CF devices it may create conflicts. What are you storing on CF. Are you swapping CF for different CF? [that does different things CF /usb CF/wifi etc]? if you are just using for storage, check for dust, any detritus in CF slot,

As Susan pointed out in her post, the fake server trick should fix your problem.
But you may also want to look at which Rom version you have. If it's not A12 consider upgrading it.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I used the trick method and confident that it will work. thanks for the tip to close out active sync post removal from the docking station.
