I'm martin form Argentina, and I bought an Axim X51V.
I'm using with a software for gps....and others things....

My axim works perfect, later of some "adjusting" the active sync......thatt hangs sometimes the PDA.

I'm currently using the ROM A06, if I make the A12 upgrade....
I need to reinstall all the software application again?
or the upgrade don't touch the installed software programs?

If I need to delete all, all my axim....(like a format all: )

how can I make this?
From Where can I get the WM5.0 and the instalation instructions for my axim x51v?

Please if anybody can respond this enquires, I be grateful.

I've only upgraded rom and then you obviously have to reinstall all the applications. As for just upgrading the versions I'm unsure but will front page for ya.

The ROM A12 upgrade...contains the OS of the axim?

In other words...the ROM Axx always have the windows mobile software inside?

Make the upgrade is like reinstall windows?

The upgrade will reinstall the OS with changes.
It will be like when you first took it out of the box but with an updated OS.
All the programs that come with it will still be there.
It will wipe out any programs that you have installed.
It will wipe out any data you have in main memory.
It will not affect anything you have on SD or CF cards.
You should make a back up of all your data and programs.
Make sure you have installation files for all of your programs.
And all registration codes for those programs.
