Hey guys,

I've found this Tutorial and wanted to check how to update.

Well all I know is that my Axim will be A04, and as far as I know this is the latest ROM (for German devices). Well, I cant found any newer updates. Am I searching wrong or what is going on with this?

Please help me with this.

A04 is the A12 of Germany.

really? So there is no difference inbetween A04 [german] and A12?

So why is that? I mean why is there a difference in name?

I think you will find that they created a couple more updates in English because that is their basic language. Then they produced the various other language versions. So there was no point to make the German A12 because then all the people who use a german operating system would run around looking for all the numbers in between A01 and A12. Who really knows what logic goes into the thought process of the people who do the updates.

So the short answer is, No, you don't need to update.

well the main point is that the A04 is the latest update for german axims. Ive just read that someone said since he updated to A12 all the problems he ever had were solved so I was a little bit sceptic about the A04-A12 thing. But now when I know its the same I dont worry anymore. :)
