8GB Seagate CF card issues....

Hi,

I've been looking for three days now with no avail, I have an X51V and a seagate 8GB cf card....Whenever I put it in it never reads. The screen gets bright whenever I put it in so I know its not the hardware. I have tried to soft reset, and formatted the card numerous times.

Sounds like you have one of the IDE Seagate 8gb CF micro drives that do not work with the X51V. Take a look at the threads with the words 'micro drive' in them to see which you may have.
