How do i connect my Axim x51 wirelessly

Hi,
Can anybody point me in the right direction

I just purchased an x51 pda with windows mobile version 5
My problem is, how do i connect to my router, as i cannot find the Dell WLAN Utility or the Odyssey clent, i can only see Beam , Bluetooth and network cards.
How do i setup my connection?
Is this normal as i keep seeing on the help forums, use the Dell WLAN Utility
Which i havent got
There doesnt seem to be a facility of viewing available networks

Do you have a new pda and/or the Dell disc as well?

Pushing the wireless on/off button on the side a couple times should start your wireless Axim ability. WLAN should be started also when you tap on the broken wireless icon in the bottom right corner next to the BT icon.

Then you should be able to connect to wireless networks, password protected (depending on if you have the password) or non-protected.

Which model do you have? The lowest version doesn't have built-in wifi. If it's not in the Connections menu, then you may have that model.

I too have the X51. No built in wifi and no dell WLAN utility to search for networks. I ordered the Ambicom CF wireless compact flash card and Wifi companion software from dell. Get both and your set! -JAG257-

Yes it is the x51, At least i know its not me doing it wrong now,well, other than the fact that i didnt know it was WLAN free!!!

It was really frustrating me.
Think i might invest in the wireless compact flash card that jag257 mentioned.
Where can i get one from and how much are they??
Anyway, thanx everyone for the replies:)

I purchased mine through Dell for $25 bucks or so. Model WL1100C- CF. Good luck
