CF location

Hi,

I'm new so I hope I'm posting this in the right place. When I turn on my X51 v in the file manager it shows the SD but not the CF, I have to reset it to show it. When I turn it on the next time it's gone again. Help!!!!!Please

Early ROM versions of the X51 had some issues with the CF port. I cannot remember if your specific issue was included but you may want to consider updating the ROM if your X51v has anything earlier than A12.

The last official ROM is available from Dell's download site. [Follow the procedure exactly. A failed ROM upgrade can make your Axim unusable.]

I had the same issue plus others. Upgrading my ROM to A12 as ikehiker said fixed them all with out exception. If your going to do this upgrade be sure and read the sticky note on this site with information and step by step instructions. Some have reported on this site they bricked their X51V while doing this upgrade. I did the upgrade the second day it was out with no issues during or after the upgrade.
