I am able to synchronize from my pc to my pda but am having problems with the reverse - particularly any files (mainly excel) on my sd card. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT I AM DOING WRONG????

You need to install some software, like Mighty Sync, to your computer if you want to syncronize files from a storage card to your Pocket PC. Mighty Sync works in conjunction with ActiveSync and allows you to sync files stored anywhere on your pocket pc.

I just use a card reader. This is much faster than using my computers application 'My Computer' and the Microsoft ActiveSync 'Explore' application to do a copy and paste conversion.

I prefer a card reader too...A card reader is faster, and allows more control over what goes on the SD card.
