Help for axim annoyances?

I have a couple of things that are plaguing my x51v. I have spb mobile shell and formerly had wisbar advance, but deleted wisbar. Now I get an error message each time I turn on the axim, saying that wisbar can not be found. Where do I find the settings to get rid of this? I am also recently getting notification sounds and the flashing power button but can't find the source, no appointments, tasks or alarms correspond. This continues after soft reset. What gives? I would appreciate any ideas.

I can help with the wisbar I think. Use file explorer and look in the windows startup folder and delete the shortcut to wisbar if it's there. If not I recommend downloading sk tools (there's a trial) and run it to find any bad shortcuts or registry entries that were missed during the uninstall. It may even help with the notifications as well.

I would definitely recommend a maintenance software such as sktools or memmaid. They are definitely worth the money over the long term. memmaid, in my opinion is much less agressive, but it is also safer, although sktools always offers you an option of backing up up prior to making a change. However, beware, the option is located on the menu, it doesn't pop-up to remind you.

I have both and use them regularly.

oxios memory and the dell notification tool patch do the same thing memmaid does but for free.
