Internet extremely slow..

Whenever i open up the internet it says "locating" for about a minute
then opening for like 15 seconds and the page finally opens

is it supposed to be this slow??
if not how do i speed it back up?

I wish I knew the answer also. I now use Opera Mobile since it is much faster at loading web pages. Unfortunately it's not free.

i found the patch and installed it but it still has the same problem. i called dell but apparently since its not registered under my name i cant ask them for help.

What sites are you trying to load? Try www.aximsite.com. It should load pretty much instantly because it's the mobile version.

no it has the same problem...
i read on some other forum that this dude had the same problem whenever it was in its cradle. i just bought a battery for it so i gotta test that still..
then install new rom maybe??

It's always slower on the cradle because you're using your USB connection. Are you using wifi?

Yes I have the same problem w/my x51... Guess I will have to check back here to see if someone has an answer...but I definitely plan on having a look at Opera... cheers!
