Exclamation ActiveSync Internet pass-thru failure with new Opera browser

When I installed the newest edition of the Opera vrowser on my X51v, i was impressed with the speed and features, but after a few days, I decided to cradle my device and sync up. After a successful sync, i attempted to connect to the internet, but to my dismay, I found got the following error message: "Could not connect to proxy server. Access is Denied" WTH??? In previous releases, and with the built-in PIE, as long as my computer is connected to the internet, whenever my device is in the cradle and synchronized, I have been able to connect to the internet. Can someone please help me out here???

How are you connecting to the internet with the PC? The proxy server message suggests that you have changed the default setting of the axim somehow. I've just gone from the opera bet to full and it all works. What about your AS settings

I am on a dial-up connection. The unusual thing is that with the opera 8.65 beta, and my previous release, I was able to connect to the internet without incident via cradling my device and connecting to activesync. I was even able to connect to the internet when activesynced via bluetooth. I have not altered the USB, or existing intranet settings on my device since first recieving it. I am still able to use all features of activesync and explore the device. A troubleshoot of activesync showed no errors. interestingly, all my apps that connect to the internet to update or synchronize (WeatherPanel, 1-calc, AirScanner Antivirus) can still connect and download data.

UPDATE: As it turns out, it was Microsoft's fault the whole time! Some of the newly released "updates" screwed with my ActiveSync connectivity, now that I installed the latest update, as of last night, everything's copacetic again, Fantastic.
