Aximsitesoftwareicon Buying an SD Card

for my x51 running the default windows mobile rom, which one will be be better i am thinking of getting a Sandisk card however theres like 3 different cards: Standard, High Speed (Type 2) and extreme(type 3, i think this is SDHC?). So which one will be better and supports the x51

Any card will work but just make sure it is not the SDHC type. As these will not work. Don't be overly concerned with the speed of the card. You are not going to see any differance on your Axim between a slow card & the so called high speed cards.

will a 4gb card work with the stock windows mobile 5 found on the 416mhz x51?

Yes, you can find 4 GB SD cards that will work with your WM5.0 pocket pc. Just be sure to avoid the SDHC cards.

spotted something in the manual about the mmc cards, will those work too?

i think mmc should work, but dont quote me on that. I would also advise to be cautious with a 4gb sd card. i bought one about a year ago and the card ended up being faulty. this is not uncommon as SD standards only officially take up to 2gb. This means that 4gb cards are mostly made by noname manufacturers. mine would sort of work, but then as i surpassed 2 gb, on ppc or on computer, it would stop working. it may work but make sure to try it all first to be sure

Im trying to get an OCZ 4gb card, but newegg is out of stock now
