Since Saturday evening my X51v has been showing time as 1 hour earlier than the actual time. I change it manually and this stays until I place the device in the cradle. Once synced it goes back to showing the time 1 hour slow. Does anyone know how to correct this problem or is there an update available?
Thanking you in advance for your assistance

Well the update for my PC won't run. Keeps saying it doesn't apply to my system. My PDA did take the update, but everytime I sync, it keeps changing back one hour. It didnt' do this back at the beginning of DST. In fact, I had no issues with DST in the spring. Was smooth as could be. Now it's make me very frustrated.

Your problem is on the PC not the PDA. Until you update the PC, it'll keep syncing you PDA clock to the PC time.
I'm using Vista (which if probably my problem). According to the website, I should not have to update. My OS is already DST complliant. I tried to run the update for Vist 32-bit, but it won't complete. For the record, my PC did not change and has the correct 'stuff' for the new DST.

I'm wondering if you need a different update for you PDA then? You may need to contact MS for this one. If I remember right, the original PDA update was based on XP or 2000.
I also had this problem and downloaded the recent DST change. Although it didn't correct the time display on the PPC it did adjust my calendar items back to the correct time. The PC has the correct day/time and my Moto Q with Wm5 apparently had the correct data because it's fine as well.
As long as my calendar is OK I'll live with the 1 hour off until 11/4 or just change the time each morning until then. When I sync the time doesn't change but it must at midnight because yesterday it was fine but today it's not.
Did you do the trick of changing the time on your pocket pc to a different time zone, and then changing it back to your correct time zone? You may also need to perform a soft reset after you've completed this step.

The time zone trick did it... I guess I needed to keep on reading the directions from Microsoft. Thanks for all the help. For anyone else experiencing the same issue, I am runnign 32-bit Vista Home Premium and using Mobile Device Center to sync my Axim x51v running WM5 thorugh Outlook 2007. The PC update did not appear to 'take' but the Outlook and PDA updates did. The last little step, changing your time zone and then changing back is IMPORTANT. Once I did that, everything worked likea charm.

For non-Vista users, if I remember right you had to apply 3 updates. First Windows, then Office, and finally the PDA. If all three updates were not applied then it seemed like the PDA would appear to not have changed.
Well I didn't read all of that but I've done twice now. Simple: Just download as stated above. You can even download the dst without the pc on microsofts website. As for the pc time difference
