Notification Alarm keeps going off

Over the past two days my notification alarm has been going off for no reason. It sounds every few minutes even though there are no appointments or items to be reminded about. It also sounds even though the volume is turned off. I have tried both a soft reset and hard reset and still. I dont know what else to try.

Yes, very strange indeed. Are you sure you performed a full reset of the pocket pc? If so, you would have removed all your user files and the pocket pc would have been just like it was when you first got it out of the box.

I did the reset and restored with my backup data. Should I do another hard reset and not restore using any backup data.

Yes, restoring from your backup file restored your problem! Do what radimus recommends....there's an erroneous notification in your notification queue that needs to be manually deleted.
