The failure of ROM update in x51

I received the x51 via e-bay a few days ago.

It was WM 5. Therefore, I updated to WM 6 using DiAd_K_AximX51v_WM6_A03EN.nbo. It was diasater, the X51 is brick.

I need bootloader for restoring her. Please!~~

Send me the rom of a x51.

u can find the rom for wm5 A12 by googling for it or u can try out the WM5 M17 rom.

I think you have attempted to flash your X51 with an X51v rom - this will not work and can/will brick your device... To my knowledge, there are no wm6 roms for the X50 (only for the X50v).

I think you must have found the ROM you attempted to flash on forum.xda-developers.com and I suggest you go back to this site to find a X50 ROM.

As a last resort, you should be able to find the latest dell rom for your device and extract the loader files. It's a bit of a pain but you'll find some good support/help on this site and xda-developers.com too.

I tried to downgrade her using wm5 A12 making loader. (http://www.aximsite.com/boards/x50-x...utorial-7.html)
It did not work.
I changed the text from BCF3A4F4 to 1468E194.
And then the booting was started.

However, The process was stopped on the way. :realmad:Message is:
image update
image checksum error. please reset the machine.
RAm checksum:0xBCF3A4F4
CRC checksum:0x1468E194

Please!~~ help me.

So you do actually have a X50v not a X50 (as I thought)?

If you do have the X50v, you will be able to find a WM6 rom for it and I guess you are now an expert at de-bricking your PDA!

he has x51 the wm6 roms are for x50/51v only!!!
