Just recently purchased a new Dell 745 Opti Tower. When I plug in my Axim X51V the whole system slows to a crawl including any open programs. It won't let me shut the system down and I have have to Hard Boot. Any ideas?

What slows down? The tower or your axim?

Do you have windows xp (youd be using activesync) or windows vista (youd be using mobile device center)?

The tower and all programs slow down. We are running windows XP Pro. We did call dell suport and updated active sync which did seem to work until we plugged it in again today :(, then the same thing happened.
