x51v won't start even though power button is green in craddle

I've tried charging my Axim with the cradle & the wall charger, but it won't start. The button lock is not on.

While in the cradle, the power button is green as if it's charged, so at least it's making a connection, but the screen will not light up when the power button is pressed. Soft reboots don't do a thing.

Do I need a replacement battery? Any other suggestions?

I had the same problem - exactly the same on my X51. I feel a complete fool coz I thought it had died and I went and bought an iPAQ hx2490 (nice piece of kit) and now I have fixed the damn X51.

If your problem is the same as mine - simply do a hard reset. Push and hold the power button and at the same time use your stylus to push the reset button - hey presto - one working Dell Axim X51.

Now I have to tell the wife that I spent loads of cash on the iPAQ for no reason. Oooops.
