Stu,
I'm out here in San Diego attending my religious conventions and I'm
experiencing problems with my Dell Axim. Actually, it began at home, but got
worse tonight. At home, for some reason I could no longer synch to any
computer. I tried two laptops and my desktop (which had been my main synch machine in the past) and the Axim would not synch with anything. This all started when I tried to download Adobe Reader so I could view some papers for the conference in pdf format. Yesterday, I also noticed that my pocket E-sword bible program would not work anymore. I really need that one cuz it has the Greek text program. Tonight, I decided to do a hard reset and return the machine to its factory settings. Amazingly, that did no good. Before and after the reset, when I downloaded the E-sword program directly onto my Axim and then tried to load the program, the Axim said it was NOT a valid pocket pc program.
I tried some other programs and each one gave me the same error message. Have you ever had this problem?? It's very strange. My Axim has been working just fine until I decided to download the Adobe Reader program at home. I thought that might have been the probelm that corrupted everyting, but seems like that's not the case after doing the hard reset tomight. Got any ideas???
