we use our company axims in the automotive industry.

I gave mine to a filed rep at the mercedes plant, installed activesync 4.2 on his laptop, set up the axim the same way it was for me etc.

there is free wireless at the mercedes plant thru lessnetworks.com when I had the axim I saw the network fine, would have to open explorer, sign in and then you could sync, browse etc

now with the new partnership set up for him, the axim sees all the secured networks at the plant, but not the free wi-fi......I played with network connections, in the past it worked fine with having the network card set up to connect to work, not the internet......

any ideas ?

do I need to reinstall activesync, or I know that some previous versions of active sync (like 4.0) worked better if you had problems with syncing....

any hekp would be appreciated
